4-week Basic Behaviors Teaching Program

Service Description

Over a four-week period, I will help you help your dog learn all of the common basic foundational behaviors as to be a happy and valued furry family member. During the weekly one-hour teaching sessions, I will introduce and teach two behaviors, then demonstrate how to attach the selected cue to it. I will also demonstrate how to properly reinforce the taught behaviors, which you will, following the session, practice daily with your furbaby in preparation of two new behaviors being introduced and taught the following week. The behaviors will include Sit, Stay, Wait, Down, Recall (come), Take It/Leave, Fetch/Drop It, Loose leash walking, Focused Heel, and Emergency recall. Each of these behaviors has a specific purpose and value in your dog's life and within his "pack", which will be explained at the start of each new session. During these four-weeks, I will also utilize and reinforce the two focus commands, "Look Here" and "Touch" that will be introduced at the Initial Assessment session that precedes it, in addition to addressing any undesirable behaviors your dog may have. This program will include training materials to include: weekly training review/homework assignment, training resource handouts in digital form, a graduation certificate from "Freddie B's Dog Teaching Academy" suitable for framing, and complimentary 8x10 professional portrait[s] of you and your furry family member.

Cancellation Policy

All fees refunded 100% if canceled 24 hours prior to the start of the first session, minus a $50 session fee (if applicable) for the initial consultation/assessment, if already completed. If remaining session(s) cancelled after initial session, 50% of remaining fees will be refunded, i.e. 50% of $50 per session cancelled.
