Service Description

During the Zoom session, I will explain and demonstrate [when applicable] with one of my own furbabies, how to teach your furbaby more rewarding & desirable alternate behaviors other than the undesirable one(s) you dog is exhibiting, such as digging, jumping, leash pulling, chewing on things he is not supposed to, puppy-related behaviors, ect. If it's other fear-based behaviors you need help with, such as fear-aggression, seperation anxiety, or resource guarding, I will discuss with you methods and treatment plans to address those issues, supported by articles. If applicable, I will also discuss counter-conditioning and desensitization techniques and methods in addressing your dog's reactivity issues, be it fear-based, fear-aggression based, or over-stimulation/over-excitement. I will also help you understanding the importance of and establishing yourself as a leader of the "pack", that will greatly help with any undesirable issues you need to address with your dog, such as being, "demanding" or pushy, food, people, or toy aggression or guarding, and "not listening". I use a variety of methods to help your dog learn his "role" and place in the "pack, and just as important, to enjoy being there. Establishing, and maintaining leadership, with your dog not only increases your effectiveness in helping him or her learn new behaviors and modifying any undesirable behaviors [because, in part, lends to your validity and influence], but also establishes and strengthens the between you and your furbaby, hence, relationship-based teaching and behavior modification. During this session,, if needed and if requested, I will demonstrate the variety of methods of establishing and maintaining this leadership role with your furbaby using a member of my rescue pack. Digital resources and references pertaining your specific dog's behavior issues/learning needs, such as articles and instruction sheets, will be provided that support all that I discuss and demonstrate.
